Each school year, we provide training for new teachers starting our program and a refresher for current teachers. Newcomers receive a comprehensive briefing about the school program and Mill Creek watershed, health and safety protocol, water quality monitoring methods, and data interpretation and analysis. Teachers interested in our school program should visit the environmental education page for more information.

Description of School Program
Mill Creek Restoration Project (MCRP) sponsors an environmental education program that provides authentic learning experiences for middle school and high school students in twelve school districts in the Mill Creek watershed, including Cincinnati Public Schools. MCRP's school program is designed to empower students by presenting them with challenging goals and ways to accomplish them. Participating students acquire new skills, contribute to their communities, and learn to take pride in their accomplishments. There are no fees for our program and we provide the schools with all the equipment needed for the field trips. Detailed description of our school program.
